Off-Leash Dog Park.
An Off-Leash Dog Park is a contained area where dog owners can allow their pets to run free and exercise off-leash. The increase in Ocean County's population has reduced the number of places where dog owners can let their dogs run free. As a result, many owners use park facilities as a place to exercise their dogs. Conflicts often arise with other park users when the mandatory leash law is ignored. Off-leash Dog Parks provide a safe place for dogs while alleviating conflicts in other parks.

DIRECTIONS Garden State Parkway southbound to exit 77; left onto Double Trouble Road; right at traffic light onto Pinewald Keswick Road (Route 530); park entrance is located approximately 3 miles down on the left.

DIRECTIONS Ocean County Park, Route 88, Lakewood From Garden State Parkway southbound, exit 91 (Route 549/Lanes Mill Road) south to Route 88, then west on Route 88 about 2 miles to park entrance on right. Northbound, exit 90 (Route 549/ Chambers Bridge Rd.) to jug handle for U-turn; north about 1/2 mile to Route 88, then west on Route 88 about 2 miles to park entrance on right.
